Abstract

Sharp gusts of wind can not only cause discomfort, but also to some extent put people danger. In this regard, the wind conditions of residential developments is one of the most important design factors that must be taken into account, since comfort of the urban environment directly depends on it. As a result, it is necessary to take into account the movement of wind flows when designing urban development. The article describes a methodology for numerical simulation of the impact of wind on a group of buildings in order to ensure comfortable conditions in residential buildings. Numerical modeling was conducted ANSYS Discovery Live. The obtained results and revealed patterns will help to better assess the level of comfort of architectural and planning solutions of urban developments, including when planning the construction of buildings within existing neighborhoods.
