Abstract

The paper presents an algorithm aimed at improving the accuracy and efficiency of construction material calculations for timber-framed houses. A geometry-oriented algorithm for processing digital building model parameters derived from a BIM environment is proposed. The approach reduces costs, minimizes resource overuse, and eliminates discrepancies between design documentation and actual production data. Implementation of the algorithm in practical projects has demonstrated a significant decrease in calculation errors, an acceleration of procurement processes, and a reduction in excess material purchases. Further developments include integration with ERP systems and adaptation to various types of timber frame structures.
