TYPOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF DESIGN SKATEPARKS
Abstract
Today Ukraine and other former Soviet countries rapidly develop new kinds of sport, including
the extreme ones which require specifically adapted spaces. These kinds of sport include
skateboarding, which one can go in for only at a skatepark. Current theoretical foundation
is significantly falling behind the actual practice, as evidenced by the lack of regulations
and guidelines for the skatepark design.
