MAGNESIUM-CONTAINING TECHNOGENIC RAW MATERIAL IN THE PRODUCTION OF STRUCTURAL CERAMIC MATERIALS

Abstract

The article considers the possibilities of using magnesium silicate, the by-product of Khalilovo
mining and processing works, in the production of ceramics.
The author defines that the admixture to the magnesium-containing technogenic raw material
in the volume of 10 to 65 % allows obtaining qualitative ceramic body in the conditions
of low-temperature firing which is appropriate for the structural ceramics.
