ON THE NECESSITY OF FORMING A STRUCTURE OF NETWORK OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL YOUTH CENTERS

The article analyzes the current situation in the Russian Federation concerning the experience, factors, and needs of young people which influence the development of multifunctional youth centers and identify prerequisites for the formation of appropriate networks. The results of a sociological survey of young people are outlined, describing the types of leisure activities they prefer and recommendations are made for the functional saturation of youth centers, reflecting the needs of modern young people. Recommendations on typology and structure of multifunctional youth centers for the creation of such network are proposed. Area for further research is determined.
