Аннотация


The synthesis of copolymers of methyl methacrylate and butylvinyl ether using the system tributylboron–2,5-di-tert-butil-p-benzoquinone has been carried out. This system does not influence the reactivity ratios of these monomers. Predominantly, the terminal unit of butylvinyl ether reacts with p-quinone. Controlled radical polymerization is realized along with the conventional process.
