Procedure for reviewing papers

Article reviewing (SUSU Bulletin, series “Mathematics. Mechanics. Physics”) is done in accordance with the following rules:

А. Document control in the process of reviewing

  1. The editorial board accepts only the articles written in compliance with the requirements of publication arrangement. The non-compliance with the requirements is possible only when the article is prepared by the order of the editorial office.
  2. The article is directed to the member of the editorial team with PhD (reviewer) by e-mail for the reviewing. Both the members of the editorial team and the authors of the article could be the reviewers.
  3. The reviewing period is 1 month. After the process of reviewing the article is forwarded to the editorial board by e-mail. The document turnover between the editorial team and the reviewer normally takes no more than 2 months from the day when the reviewer gets the article.
  4. The author of the article gets the copy of the review; reviewer’s signature is cut off (reviewer’s first and last names are not announced to the author). The copy of the review is sent to the author by regular or electronic mail.
  5. If the reviewer has made a decision to publish the article after the improvements and alterations the article is sent back to the authors. After the improvements and alterations have been made and the article is back in the editorial office it is forwarded to the reviewer again. The reviewer informs the editorial team on his or her decision. If the author ignores the recommendations of the reviewer the article will not be published. Authors can also motivate their refusal in a written form. In this case the letter of motivated refusal is sent to the reviewer who can agree or disagree with the authors. If the reviewer doesn’t agree with the authors the article is not published and the authors get the official letter on the unavailability of article’s publication.
