Physics" cordially congratulates Sergey Gurevich, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher Education, on the 80th anniversary! A respected and beloved teacher by colleagues and students, a prominent scientist who has made a great contribution to the fundamental theory of the interaction of pulsed laser, electromagnetic and acoustic fields in ferromagnetic metals at magnetic phase transition temperatures, and to the creation of the physical foundations of high-temperature and high-speed methods and means of contactless acoustic quality control of metal products, he enjoys well-deserved authority in the scientific community not only in our country, but also abroad.
