Abstract

he study considers axisymmetric elastoplastic deformation of a thick-walled constrained shell made of incompressible material subjected to internal pressure. The problem is solved using the method of variable elasticity parameters, taking into account the nonlinear law of deformation hardening. Based on the calculation results, the paper presents the distribution of radial, circumferential, and axial stresses for various relative shell wall thicknesses when the boundary of the plastic zone passes through the median surface of the shell.
