Abstract
We proposed the method of the optical fiber mode composition determination of the radiation propagating in a multimode optical fiber with a stepwise refractive index profile. The method is based on the field decomposition by non-orthogonal modes. Complex coefficients of optical fiber radiation modes were calculated for experimental data.
