Abstract

The author considers steady-state flow of viscous incompressible fluid between two coaxial infinite cylinders which rotate with constant angular velocity. It is assumed that fluid viscosity is variable and depends on straining rate defined by power law. Under the assumption that the fluid doesn’t flow in radial and axial directions the author obtains the expression for azimuthal velocity component which generalizes the familiar formula of the fluid with constant viscosity.
