The interaction of 2-hydroxybenzyltriphenylphosphonium, propargyltriphenylphosphonium, benzyltriphenylphosphonium, and bromopropyltriphenylphosphonium bromides with silver bromide produced ionic complexes [Ph3PCH2C6H2(OH-2)Br2-3,5][Br] (1) [C25H20OPBr3, M = 607.11; monoclinic system, sp. gr.
