Abstract

Rate increase of protective aluminum jackets corrosion of power cables (6 (10) kV) is shown experimentally under the influence of electric field generated by joining of the power cable to a voltage source and magnetic field 4*103 А*m-1. The dependence of mass addition for corrosion products is described by linear trends, the greatest corrosion rate is observed in rotating magnetic field.
