Abstract

Triphenylbismuth bis(2-methylpropenoate) Ph3Bi(O2CMe=CH2)2 has been obtained by the interaction of triphenylbismuth with methacrylic acid and hydrogen peroxide in tetrahydrofuran. Its structure has been determined by IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
