On methodology of strategic management of enterprise information systems development in uncertain conditions

This paper presents methodology of strategic management of enterprise information system development in organization which acts in constantly changed unpredictable external environment. Presented methodology does not require a formalized business strategy and is based on combination of shared view on IT role in organization (perspective) and strategic behavior patterns. Following patterns are distinguished: a decision making method for IT initiatives, a method of measurement of efficiency for realized initiatives, and methods of maintaining agility of information systems. Method of estimation of efficiency of IT investment is also proposed. Results of usage of proposed methodology are demonstrated on example of manufacturing company JSC Saturn.References
