The article discusses the process of writing a mathematical model for the solar desalination plant. Describes the process of carrying out laboratory tests on the desalination plant to identify the factors take into account the effect of the initial temperature and salinity on plant productivity. Based on the results of the performance of solar desalination plant and productivity results from experimental studies , the conclusions about the possibility of using mathematical models to preliminary calculations in the design of desalination systems for solar energy. Recommendations for increasing the accuracy of the calculation.
