Abstract
The aim of this work is to conduct an analysis of the application of AGILE approaches in Russia and worldwide. The analysis was carried out based on data from surveys of Russian and foreign specialists who apply AGILE approaches in business. The survey among the Russian specialists was conducted by the ScrumTrek organization. The survey among foreign specialists was conducted by the State of Agile foreign organization. Data over a period of 5 years (2017–2021) was analyzed. The analysis of the data took into account the division by business sectors, AGILE approaches, expectations, and benefits of AGILE implementation. As a result of the research, the following conclusions can be drawn. Foreign companies that do not develop software use AGILE approaches more often than Russian companies. Among the existing AGILE approaches, Scrum is the most popular one with Russian and foreign companies. Expectations and benefits from AGILE approaches are approximately the same for Russian and foreign companies.
