Abstract

The aim of the article is to systematize and conduct a comparative analysis of the methods for assessing the innovative potential of entrepreneurial structures, identifying their key characteristics, advantages, and limitations. The working hypothesis suggests that integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches – while replacing subjective weighting coefficients with normalization and aggregation – can enhance the reliability and universality of assessments. The study employs historical-logical and comparative analysis methods, content analysis of scientific publications, as well as synthesis and scientific interpretation techniques. The research covers more than 100 sources, from which 17 of the most relevant studies from recent years have been selected. The results indicate that none of the existing approaches fully encompass all factors that define innovative potential. The article presents a summary table outlining the characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of the main methods. The authors justify the need to shift toward a comprehensiveevaluation system that considers the specific conditions of enterprise and regional development. The practical significance of the study lies in identifying directions for developing adaptive methodologies suitable for strategic planning and innovation management. Future research prospects are associated with the digitalization of assessment procedures and the use of intelligent analytical tools.
