THE INFLUENCE OF INTERNATIONAL PROTOCOL AND ETIQUETTE ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL AND FOREIGN ECONOMIC RELATIONS OF THE SVERDLOVSK REGION

The article substantiates the impact of international protocol and etiquette on the development of regional foreign economic relations. The object of the study is regional foreign economic activities; the subject is the role of international protocol and etiquette in their development. The study purpose is to develop a scientific approach for assessment of international protocol and etiquette impact on the development of the region’s foreign economic relations. The current hypothesis substantiates the dependence of successful development of foreign economic relations and their efficiency on completeness and intensity of using norms and rules of international protocol and etiquette. The developed method has been evaluated by the example of Sverdlovsk region, one of the constituents of the Russian Federation. The main research method lies in finding correlation between intensity of international contacts with the volume of WTO of the Sverdlovsk region during the last years, which provides enough ground for proving the authenticity of the obtained results and validity of conclusions made by the author. The analysis of WTO dynamics, compared to the number of foreign economic contacts, proves the proposed hypothesis on a dependency between these indicators. The field of application of the study results covers all participants of foreign trade activities regardless of their legal form. Intentional application of protocol and ethic norms in international and foreign economic contacts will allow enhancing their efficiency and will favor to achieving a greater success in the foreign markets. Therefore, the study proves the hypothesis proposed by the authors and substantiates the assumption that a more active involvement of international protocol and etiquette favors to an increase of the foreign trade turnover, and it is a critical condition of all-round strengthening and development of a region’s international and foreign economic relations.References
