CLASSIFICATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS WITH THE EMPHASIS ON TYPOLOGICAL FEATURES OF INVESTMENT CAPACITY AND PERFORMANCE

Based on the results of the conducted studies, it was possible to identify the incompleteness of existing classifications in terms of investment capacity and effectiveness. The solution was found in a combination of classifications of information systems and indicators of the economic efficiency of projects. First of all, this is the direction of the project for profit, and therefore, as far as economic efficiency is concerned, we can talk about economic benefits. Also, due to rapid obsolescence of IT technologies, we can talk about short-term and medium-term payback of effective projects. For the same reason, information systems with small and medium development time are more effective, and it is this characteristic that can be influenced to achieve greater efficiency of the information system in the process of development.References
