Abstract

The article deals with the issues connected with confirmation of the hypotheses
about positive influence of a chess game on development of the intellectual culture of
the society. The author comes to a conclusion that the skills of intellectual activity which
characterize a chess game can become the most requested by decision of the tasks on
development of modern intellectual culture of a personality and the society.

Author Biography

Maxim Jurevich Gutenev, South Ural State University

is a teacher of a Department of Political Science
at SUSU. In 2008 graduated the South Ural state university with major “Political
Science”. Research interests: political science, philosophy of culture, chess theory.
