Museums of south ural state medical university: history of the emergence and activities

The author of the article analyzes the stages of formation and development of the following institutions:
museum of history, museum of anatomy, museum of embryology of the South Ural State
Medical University (YUUGMU). The author has carried out the description of their collections,
given information about the exhibitions and the classification of the exhibits. On the example of
South Ural State Medical University museums it is showed their training and educational role in the
life of higher school students.
