The article deals with the concept of the students’ cultural identity and the role of university
museums in its formation. On the example of the Arts Hall in South Ural State University, author
described the impact of the exhibition activities in the construction of various levels of the students’
cultural identity. In the article author carried out the analysis of various kinds Academic exhibitions
in the Arts Hall. It is showed the role of expositions that have world, national and regional importance
in the cultural life of the university.
