The paper is devoted to identification of relevant management practices at the regional and local
levels in 1953—1964 years on the basis of the satirical magazine «Crocodile». Frontal analysis 432
the journal, published twelve years (1953—1964 gg.) identified at the regional and local level of
concrete manifestations of «positive» and «negative» management practices. Presents an analysis
and typology of “positive” and “negative” strategies. Shown the contents and the evolution of ideas
about management strategies in relation to the categories of “Soviet”, “party”, “head”, “power” on
the regional and local levels.
