Abstract

In article on materials of South Ural the aspect of activity of labor unions which is poorly covered
in scientific literature connected with medical and sanitary service of workers in the conditions of the
Great Patriotic War is investigated. On the basis of studying of the archival and published sources
the reasons of growth of incidence and operational injuries are called. The main areas of work of the
trade-union organizations of the industrial enterprises for improvement of working conditions and
life of workers and their families are shown, to improvement of treatment-and-prophylactic activity,
preservation of sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of South Ural
