Abstract

The article deals with the issues of women killing their child, including the determinants of this phenomenon, anxiety as the basis of the causal complex of these crimes. The aim of the
work is to analyze anxiety as a cause of crimes committed by women against their children. The paper
analyzes a traumatic situation and its role as a factor influencing the appearance of anxiety. The characteristics of a person with signs of anxiety and measures to prevent a murder committed by women
are given. Conclusions and recommendations can be used in the educational process when studying
the course "Criminology", as well as for solving practical issues on the provision of compulsory free
legal assistance in the event of divorce of persons with minor children
