Abstract

The article discusses the issues of introducing digital technologies in the implementation of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of laws when receiving, registering and resolving reports of crimes. A comparative analysis of the criminal procedural legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, as well as departmental orders of the Prosecutor General's Offices of both countries is carried out. Examples of pilot projects are given for the successful
implementation of digital technologies in prosecutorial activities when exercising supervision at the
stage of initiating a criminal case. It is concluded that the problem of further digitalization of prosecutorial supervision lies not only in organizational shortcomings, but also in the need to make changes
to criminal procedural legislation.
