LEGAL SUPPORT FOR THE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION PROFILING SYSTEM

Abstract

The article considers the problems of regulation of the processes of creation and application of the system of digital profiling in a higher education institution on the basis of application of digital platforms for management of educational organizations. Digital profiling in a higher education institution should represent the process of collection, analysis and systematization of information about the subjects of educational relations, including personal data, behavioral characteristics, educational preferences and results, digital traces of interaction in the network and other information that are used to create a digital profile and provide personal educational services. In the course of the research it is concluded that digital profiling in a higher education institution is based on the current legislation on personal data, requires a comprehensive approach in solving problems and minimizing risks. For this purpose, it is necessary to develop systems of local normative regulation and data protection at the higher education institution level, to increase the transparency of data collection and use processes for the subjects of educational relations, to take into account their interests and rights at all stages of work with digital profiles.
