Abstract

Taking into account the historical experience and modern vision the topical problems of labour participation of the least protected categories of disabled workers and increasing their role in the labor process are considered. It is proposed to change some of the structures of the Labour code of the Russian Federation (RF LC). The necessity of including the chapter regulating the work of disabled persons, and prevention of disability is proposed. These issues should be implemented in close connection with the provision of normal working conditions eliminating the harmful factors. Despite the diversity of activities on labor protection in Clause 209 of the Labour Code the climatic conditions of the territory where the work is performed are not taken into consideration. With the advanced domestic and foreign experience in ensuring normal working conditions the RF LC should include the Labour protection requirements associated with the creation of conditions for work and leisure in an emergency situation.
