GENOCIDE AS A GRAVE CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

Based on the materials of international organizations, the article deals with the main
forms of the genocide of Iraqi Yezidis (from August 2014 to the present): murders, kidnapping,
sexual slavery, rapes, etc. Particular attention is given to the motive of the actions
of terrorists who committed the genocide - the religious hatred against the Yezidis.
The historical roots and causes of the genocide against the Yezidis are analyzed, and its
features are described. The role of Russia in the fight against the international terrorism,
including the Islamic state is evaluated.
