NEGLIGENT CRIMINALITY: MODERN TRENDS AND PROBLEMS OF PREVENTION

The article is devoted to the analysis of the characteristics of negligent criminality and modern problems of its prevention. The article notes that negligent criminality is the totality of all committed negligent crimes. At the same time, it has a certain unity, internal structure and develops in accordance with specific social laws. Typical for negligent offenses is the contrast between the identity of the perpetrator and the severity of the consequences. Often the physical, moral and material harm caused by negligent crimes is immeasurably higher than the harm from intentional criminal acts. The prevention of negligent crimes has its specific features related to the characteristics of these socially dangerous acts and the reasons for their commission. So, first of all, in the system of measures for their prevention, the proportion of general social measures is much higher compared to the prevention of intentional crimes. All mentioned and a number of other circumstances determine the need for closer attention to the study of this problem.
