Abstract

The paper presents regulation technique for squirrel-cage induction motor speed; the technique is based on scalar feedback control principles. Feedback system consists of two independent paths: frequency regulation path and voltage regulation path based on stator active current regulation.
Presented induction motor control system allows of achieving maximum operation speed at scalar control comparable to traditional vector system.
