Method and software for identifying the parameters of a power district

We herein propose a method for evaluating the operating parameters of a power district. The method can be used to evaluate the state of a district for a computation chart that covers mainlines and distribution grids, including industrial grids. The method provides adequate results even in case of insufficient telemetry data.
Beside telemetry, the method enables constrains on any parameter for a better quality of results. The proposed method has been implemented in the PRES software suit that operates in conjunction with the ANARES software. We herein present the results of implementing the method at an industrial enterprise, a subsidiary of Rosatom State Corporation. Beside solving the problem of evaluating the current state of a power district,
the approach can be used for parameter optimization in long-term planning tasks.
