CALCULATED FORECAST ON INTERACTIONS OF AUGERCAST ANCHOR PILES WITH A SILTY-CLAYEY FOOT

Abstract


The paper describes a solution to the problem of strengthening the bulkhead wall of an under­ground three-storey parking by means of additional arrangement of augercast anchor piles in the up­per part. An analysis of static tests’ results for augercast anchor piles is given with drawn up graphs showing dependency of the piles’ setting on the applied load. Calculations are performed to deter­mine the main anchor pile parameters as per results of numerical simulation: length, spacing and load bearing capability. It is possible to use Plaxis 2D programming complex for numerical simula­tion of joint functioning of the bulkhead wall and the augercast anchor piles. The results of analyti­cal calculations described in this paper will allow to determine displacement of an augercast anchor pile caused by pulling-out load as compared to control on-site static tests in clayey soil with an ac­curacy of up to 22 %.
