Problems explication of concepts “information” substantiation of proposals to address them

Abstract

The article analyzes the various interpretations of the concept of “information” and the problems associated with them. Investigated two generally accepted approach to the interpretation of the concept of “information”, which are based on very similar within the meaning of the word “uncertainty” and “indistinguishability”. It is established that the existing definition of “information” in some way combine such disparate concepts as “information”, “information cooperation”, “the result of information exchange” and others. On the basis of the philosophical validity of the proposed approach is justified by the authors of definitions of basic concepts of information theory, “information”, “information cooperation” and “the result of information exchange”. The definitions of the above concepts provide meaningful distinctive features that determine the validity of their application in various fields of science and technology information communications.
