DEFINITION OF PROVERBS (LINGUISTIC ASPECT)
Abstract
This article presents the analysis of modern domestic and foreign lexicographical
sources containing definitions of the terms paremy and proverb. As a result of comparison of the semantic content of the terms paremy and proverb the definition of proverbs is clarified in general linguistic sense.
