KINDS OF THE PHRASEOLOGICAL POLYSEMANTICISM AND THE WAYS OF ITS FUNCTIONING IN COMPARATIVE LINGUISTICS (BASED ON THE ENGLISH AND RUSSIAN SAMPLES)
Abstract
The article deals with the ways of functioning of phraseological polysemnaticism in
the Russian and English languages. The author singles out types of phraseological polysemnaticism and phraseological polysemants peculiar for the comparative linguistics only. The article also deals with the discription of some peculiarities of Russian and English phraseological polysemants focusing on their common and differential characteristics.
