Keywords:

The article deals with the relationship of paradigms shifts and transformation of historical
terms. Historical terms reflect the system of established views – paradigms. For a long
time paradigms of linguistics and history developed concurrently without intersecting.
Changes that occurred in the middle of the 20th century brought about historical terms
transformations and reconstruction of historical events as the interests of history and linguistics
coincided.
