Submission Preparation Checklist

• Requirements to the content of the article

           According to the manual EASE (European Association of Science Editors) authors should follow the requirements mentioned below.

           The content of the article must comply with the scientific direction and policies of selected scientific journal.

           Article submitted for publication should have strictly scientific content. Articles must be written on important topics. The importance of the topic and the research problem should be outlined by the author in the article.

           In the beginning of this article the author indicates the subject, which should correspond to the name of the article. The author should indicate the theoretical assumptions on which the study is based and the results of the assumptions should be presented in the article.

           The article must necessarily contain the results of the authors' own research. The article presents both the results of the research and the scientific methods the research results were achieved. All the results should contain novelty which is properly grounded. The research results are published only if the author is confident in the scientific validity of the results and can justify them in the text.

           In conclusion, the author demonstrates that the results correspond to the research subject.

           It is appropriate to mention the other participants of the research if they are not co-authors of the article.

           The Editorial Board accepts previously unpublished scientific papers of the following three types: a review article (not more than 20 pages of A4 format), full-length article (no more than 14 pages of A4 format usually), brief reports (from 4 to 6 pages of A4 format). Articles more than 20 pages of A4 size can be accepted for publication only after prior consent of the editors.

           A review article provides an analysis, comparison and identification of the most important and promising areas of science in a certain direction according to the theme of the journal.

           A full-length article reflects the results of the completed research and usually has the following structure: introduction, overview of the works related to the study, the theoretical part, the realization part (description of the implementation program of the proposed approaches, methods and algorithms), the experimental part, and conclusion.

           A brief report describes the preliminary results of not completed research.

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  Submission the articles

   

           The article can be written in English or in Russian. If the article is written in Russian the translations of title, abstract, list of authors, keywords and referencesare are not counted as the content of the article.

           The article is submitted to the e-mail address (see sample letter), with the following files attached to it:

           1. Digital version of the article written in accordance with the requirements to the articles.

           2. Information about the authors in the format:

           3. Mail address to which the journal should be sent including index.

           4. Scan of expert opinion on the possibility of publishing the article in the press (see sample in format MS Word). The conclusion must be signed by the chairman and secretary of the expert committee and approved by the head of the organization and certified by the official seal of the organization . Scan must have PDF format and  should be no larger than 1MB.

           Publishing articles needs absolute prepayment, which is carried out after the editors receive the positive review from the independent expert (Doctor of Pedagogy). The cost  of 1 page is 600 rubles (excluding VAT).

           PhD students can publish their articles for free.

   

  Formatting Requirements

   

           Articles should be submitted on paper and in digital form.

  Margins: head — 2,3 cm, bottom — 2,3 cm , left — 2,2 cm , right — 2,5 cm .

           Size - 14 , font - Times New Roman, interline spacing -1.5.

           In preparing the document  you should not use line breaks, page breaks, more than one space in a row, explicit hyphenation with hyphens , etc.

           Use the automatic hyphenation in words.

           The text of the articles are used only «French» quotation marks.

  Hyphen (-) is used in compound words, for example: Golenishtchev -Kutuzov (one person ). Dash is  used to specify the boundaries of the range, for example , 15—20, XIX—XX centuries . Dash is also used as a sign "minus" in arithmetic expressions to indicate a dash in the text it is highlighted gaps on both sides.

           Set the automatic insertion of the paragraph (the menu: Format, Paragraph) , the size 1,25-1,27 .

           Drawings and diagrams should be grouped (shortcut menu: group/ to group).

           Each table and figure should have a title .

           If the article has a link to the author's name, his work must be presented in the list of references. When refer to some source, it should be numbered in accordance with the references.

  Bibliographic descriptions of publications  has the following order:

  authors (transliteration)

  translation of the article title into English

  title of the article in the transliterated version in brackets

  source name (transliteration, in italics)

  date-line in English.

  If the article, to which the link points, was translated into English and published in the English version of the journal, it is necessary to specify a link from a translated version of the journal! You may find the translated version of the article on the website: http://www.mathnet.ru.

  Please note that all the words, except for articles, conjunctions and prepositions, in paper titles journal titles written with a capital letter.

  The main thing in conferences proceedings is that the conference title is given in its original language in italics (it is given in transliteration, if the title is not in English). The date-line should be given in English (place of the conference, place of publication, pages).

  As it can be seen from the above examples, the name of the source, whether it is a journal, a monograph, a collection of articles or conference title, is given in italics. Additional information - the English translation of the source name is given in brackets, the font is the same  for all the components of the description.

• Requirements for Abstracts

     The Abstract should be composed of 150 - 250.

     The Abstract should contain:

              a) justification for the choice of the subject and article topic;

              b) the subject of the article (it is desirable that the subject does not repeat the title of    the article);

              c) methods used in the research;

              g) results and their novelty;

              d) conclusion, assessment of the possible application of the research described, its      theoretical and (or) practical value.

   

  Example Abstract

              The Federal State Educational Standards of Higher Professional Education are connected with presenting the results of basic educational programs implementation of student’s  assimilated competencies as an entity. The inter-object character of competencies and their hierarchical character for each area of training set conditions for the elaboration of new means to assess the results of educational progress during the term and at the end of it.

              To elaborate the means and to search for the best findings in educational practice the theoretical investigations of Russian teachers were studied. The new techniques of elaboration of the bank of valuation means for assessment of undergraduate student’s progress during the term and at the end of it which is based on competences are shown as a result of generalization of the findings and modeling within the elaboration of the basic educational program of higher professional education. The techniques: for elaboration of the bank of the results; of methodological support modeling; of the process of assessment of graduating student’s progress during the term and at the end of it - are also provided.

              The given techniques can be used in the practice of higher education lecturers for the  elaboration of assessment materials on the subject. They may also be used in the practice of state examining and attestation commissions as methodological support of their activity.
