Abstract

According to the Federal state educational standards of higher professional education of the third generation for «Management» programme the training of manager of high qualification is impossible without fundamental training. Mathematic modeling competence is a part of it. To define the structure and content of the mathematic modeling competence the literature and practical experience in the area were studied. The studies of the usage of the mathematic modeling methods in management practice were analyzed as well. Some problems in the sphere of «Management» education are marked on the basis of the data received. As a result the generalization of the concept of «mathematic modeling competence» is formulated. The structure of this notion is also defined here. The prospects of the use of mathematic modeling methods in management practice are also described in the article. The presented results may be used in the development of the educational programmes of maths and science cycles for «Management» programme, as well as for the developing of practical recommendations for professionally oriented disciplines.
