DIFFERENTIATION OF TRAINER’S AND SPORTSMAN’S COMPETENCES UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF A THREE-CYCLE PERIODIZATION OF A SKATER’S TRAINING PROCESS

Abstract

The problem of differentiation of trainer’s and sportsman’s competences in a training process of speed skating implemented under the circumstances of an indoor skating rink is reviewed. The problem is considered to be topical for modern highwater mark sport. Competences of training process participants in a year-cycle with three-cycle periodization are given a detailed description. Evolution of highly-skilled skaters’ sports results is represented before and after a pedagogical experiment. The suggested by the author competences are based on the skating practice and can be used by sportsmen, training teachers of specialized children’s and youth’s sports schools of Olympic reserve, of Olympic reserve colleges, of Olympic training centers on skating.
