Abstract

The article deals with the analysis of the use of distance learning technologies in teaching
a foreign language in a worsening epidemiological situation. The article examines the problem of
the effectiveness of integration and the feasibility of using an integral part of distance learning in the study of the German language in professional activities. Considerable attention is paid to the characteristics of the tools used. The problem is analyzed with the help of an ascertaining experiment, which was carried out in the spring of 2020, among the undergraduates of all specialties of the first year of the South Ural State University who study German, as well as survey methods, formalized and non-formalized conversations, interviews, systematic pedagogical observation.

The analysis showed that the created systematized practice-oriented online course is
effective in the study of German in master's degree. It is focused on the direct inclusion of undergraduates
in the educational process, allowing the use of blended learning. The course serves as
a support for the development of online courses in German for undergraduate students.
