Abstract

Energy supply and saving is a topical problem of the world economy. Training of the staff with different levels of competence and responsibility in energy saving leads to an effective solution of the problem. In this regard, relevant retraining of managerial and technical staff will provide both the future and present energy saving efficiency in different sectors of the economy. We developed a system of retraining of managerial and technical staff at the National Research University specializing in solving energy saving problems. It includes the flexible modular programmes of additional vocational training that are individually structured; an educational process for educational and pedagogical interaction; invariant pedagogic technology. The SWOT analysis of the training process was conducted on the basis of the Institute of Continuous Education at the National Research University (South Ural State University). The system was tested in educational process.
