Abstract

The authors assert that there is a problem of insufficient provision of enterprises with qualified workers and specialists in the country. The foreign experience of implementing the system of continuing education is analyzed. The current system of training specialists in higher education is subjected to critical analysis. The problems and tendencies of development of the system of continuing education in Russia are described.
